About
We build scientific calculators for the phone in your pocket. The keypad is familiar on purpose — nobody should have to relearn where the buttons are, least of all the week before an exam. What sits behind it is not familiar at all.
The handheld on your desk is where we start, not where we stop. Symbolic algebra, limits, eigenvectors, implicit curves, inverse t-distributions: things no calculator you are allowed to bring into the room can do, on the device already in your hand.
A calculator is a strange thing to make beautifully. Nobody admires one. It either gives the right answer at the moment it is needed, or it is worthless. That constraint is the whole design brief, and we find it a good one.
Everything you calculate stays on your device.
