Terms of service
For all SAMATICA apps
Effective as of 7 November 2026
These terms apply to every app published by SAMATICA EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LIMITED ("we", "us"), namely:
By downloading or using one of our apps, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Not every app offers every feature described below; where a section covers a feature, it applies to the apps that have it.
Using the apps
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our apps on devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, redistribute or sell an app or any part of it, attempt to extract its source code, remove or interfere with its advertising or licence checks, or use it in any way that breaks the law or harms other people or our services.
Accuracy of results
Our apps work out their answers with computer algebra and numerical methods. We take care to make them correct, but software can make mistakes, and a result may be wrong, rounded or incomplete. Check any result before relying on it for coursework, engineering, financial, medical or safety-related decisions. It is up to you to find out whether the rules of a test or examination allow an app.
Solving from a photo and AI features
Some apps can send a photo or an expression to our servers, where it is read and solved by character recognition and artificial intelligence. Recognition can misread what you photographed, and an AI-generated solution can be wrong even when it looks convincing, so treat it as help with your work rather than a final answer.
Only send content you have the right to share, and do not include personal information in it. These features need an internet connection, may be limited in how often you can use them, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. What happens to the data you send is set out in our privacy policy.
Your account
Some features need you to sign in. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for everything done through it. We may suspend or close an account that is used to abuse our apps or our servers. You can ask us to delete your account at any time, as described on the account deletion page.
Premium purchase
Our apps are free to download and supported by advertising. Some apps offer a one-time premium purchase that unlocks what the purchase screen describes at the time you buy it. A purchase made in one app applies to that app only.
The purchase is made and billed through Google Play, so Google Play's terms apply to the payment. Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy. The purchase is linked to the Google account you used to buy it, and can be restored on another device signed in to that account.
Advertising
The free versions of our apps show advertisements supplied by third-party networks. We do not control the content of those advertisements or the sites and apps they lead to, and we are not responsible for them.
Downloaded content
Some apps download part of their content from this website, such as user manuals and notebook templates. That content is provided for your own use with the app, and may be updated, replaced or removed without notice.
Intellectual property
Our apps, their design, their manuals and the other content we provide belong to SAMATICA EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LIMITED or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. The expressions you enter and the results you work out are yours.
No warranty
Our apps are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from a wrong result, lost data, or an app or its online features being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.
Ending these terms
You can stop using an app at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering an app or any of its features, and may end your licence if you break these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post any changes here, and the effective date above will change with them. Continuing to use our apps after a change means you accept the updated terms.
